Horrific reports have been released by the UN regarding the cruel conditions faced by women and children in Sudan..
According to a UN report into violence against children,a girl was murdered by two soldiers because they could not agree on who was going to rape her first,  during Sudan's civil war has revealed.

According to Vice News,Christopher Tidey from UNICEF, said one girl was 'killed because the attackers could not decide on who would rape the victim first. So the child was killed to resolve the dispute.He said other girls were abducted 'to be used as wives'.
Witnesses who had arrived at the Bentiu camp said that some boys had their genitals cut off and were left to bleed to death. They recounted how entire families were thrown into burning houses, and girls as young as eight were raped before being murdered.

"In one incident, [boys] were tied up and had their throats slit," said Tidey. "It seems that in a lot of these cases the children were targeted. The logic is that they don't want the children to grow up to be the next generation who will then pick up the fight or exact some sort of revenge."

Why we can't release details of Buhari,Osibanjo's assets-Code of Conduct Bureau

Despite controversy surrounding the declaration of their assets, the Code of Conduct Bureau will not make public the details of assets declared by President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo due to limitations in federal laws covering such release, the office has said.

According to Premuim Times,despite his promise to declare , the president has yet to publicly declare his assets three weeks after taking office. His office said those details will be made available after the Code of Conduct Bureau authenticates claims in the declaration forms.

A civil society group, Stop Impunity Nigeria, an affiliate of the Centre for Social Justice, had on June 1, 2015 applied to the CCB to request copies of the completed assets declaration forms by the President and his deputy.

I've sold illegal wine for 4 years-Suspect

A suspected trader in illegal wine, Alfred Omeke, who was apprehended by operatives of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, says he has sold the product for more than four years.

According to PUNCH Metro, 40-year-old Omeke from the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, was nabbed on Sunday, June 14, while allegedly loading cartons of the unregistered wine into a truck in the Trade Fair, Ojo area of Lagos.

Our correspondent gathered that a team of enforcement officers from NAFDAC, while on a patrol, intercepted the truck and found the illegal wine.

The agency said the importer of the products used an official government number plate, RV885 FZE, assigned to the Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority, to deceive security operatives.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro, Omeke said it was not his duty to ensure the wine was registered, adding that he had been in the business for more than four years.

President Buhari orders sale of 9 Presidential Aircrafts to cut cost

President Buhari has ordered the sale of 9 aircrafts from the presidential fleet.

This is coming as reports have it that the presidential fleet with a number of 16 aircrafts is maintained with about N12 billion annually.

The president fleet is believed to be one of the largest in Africa and the third largest in Nigeria after Arik Air and Aerocontractors.

2 kids lose limbs in horrific shark attacks in North Carolina beach(Photos)

Like a scene from Jaws ,a 12-year-old girl and a teenage boy each lost an arm in separate shark attacks in North Carolina.

The female victim had her left arm amputated at the elbow and could still lose a leg while the 16-year-old boy lost his arm below the shoulder, officials confirmed.

The pair had to be airlifted from the beach after both were mauled by an unidentified shark within 90 minutes of each other off the coast of Oak Island on Sunday.

Multiple bomb blast in Chad, police headquarters targeted, many killed

Multiple bomb explosion rocked the Chadian capital, N’Djamena this morning. Reports say suicide bombers who are believed to be members of Boko Haram attacked the Police Headquarters. One of the suicide bombers attacked the police academy where a graduation ceremony was going on. Unconfirmed reports say at least 30 cadets were killed in the attack.

A married Pastor named Reverend Rosbon Munamba, has been arrested for pouring raw acid on his estranged lover, Rudo Bakasa in Zimbabwe.

According to Zimbabwean media Iharare.co, Rev. Rosbon was a friend of Rudo's ex husband and got into a relationship with her after her marriage ended. They dated briefly and then she decided to call off the relationship. Her decision to call off their relationship made Reverend Rosbon angry.

After Rudo refused his pleading for them to get back together, he attacked her with acid.
