EXPOSED: Lamido Sanusi's letter to President Jonathan over monumental corruption

A letter has been uncovered in which the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mallam Sanusi Lamido of Nigeria exposed to President Goodluck Jonathan the continuing refusal of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to honour its legal obligations, including failure to remit $49.8 billion to the Federation Account between 2012 and 2013.

A total of 130 couples have said "I do" in a mass wedding at Rio de Janeiro's Superior Court of Justice, marking the city's first gay civil marriages. In mid-May, Brazilian courts determined that public offices that oversee marriagescannot reject gay couples. The ceremony held on the 8th of Dec. 2013 and most of them were close to tears as their dreams of getting married came true.

Police Arrest Secondary School Pupils During Cult Initiation

 
Police in Ilesa, Osun state have arrested 4 students of the Ilesa Grammar school while they were being initiated into a secret cult.
Punch reports that the police swooped on the boys (names withheld) while they were being initiated into the group by the duo of Dayo Oludare and Olaniran Arowobusoye, both 22-year-old.
The pupils, said to be between 14 and 18 years of age, were arrested following a tip-off.
Items recovered from the scene were a butcher knife and a big kitchen knife, which a police source said were intended to be used to unleash terror upon fellow pupils.

Oba Adebiyi Adesida of Akure Kingdom is dead. He died in his place early hours of this morning after a brief illness. The Oba ascended the throne on the 12^th of August, 2010 after he was recalled from London shortly after the former Oba was dethroned after he physically abused his wife. The late Oba attended the wedding ceremony of his son two weekends ago in Lagos before passing on this morning. May his soul rest in peace.
