Oba Adebiyi Adesida of Akure Kingdom is dead. He died in his
place early hours of this morning after a brief illness. The Oba ascended the
throne on the 12
th of August, 2010 after he was recalled from London
shortly after the former Oba was dethroned after he physically abused his wife.
The late Oba attended the wedding ceremony of his son two weekends ago in Lagos
before passing on this morning. May his soul rest in peace.
